Located on 85th near Greenlake sits a special little coffee spot called Green Bean Coffeehouse. Not your basic high-volume stark coffee establishment, Green Bean is actually a non-profit cafe, one set forth as a "vehicle for the creation of community" in their Greenwood neighborhood. The actively support and are a part of the Greenwood Neighborhood Advancement organization. Each month 50% of their tip jar proceeds go to support a local or global non-profit organization - last year that totalled over $16,000!

They have a great space for meeting your friends and hanging out with kiddos in tow. Even better? Each Wednesday evening they host "Live" music for families. It might be just what they doctor ordered to make it through Humpday.
